Becoming a Member

The Ngakdra Labrang aims to serve Vajrayana practitioners and students in finding key sources of wisdom traditions and transmissions as well as access to healing avenues and links to pertinent information, events and project activities.  The site requires regular updating and adequate time has to be spent on this activity to make the site current and useful.  Your membership support helps us accomplish this activity.  Similarly, membership contributions enable Ngakdra Labrang to support several  projects as the needs arise.  Finally, by supporting the existence of Ngakdra Labrang and the web site, meritorious accumulations radiate from that root cause as well.

The web site also has a special "members only" section which is designed for serious Sangha members and students alike.  In this section, practitioners have access to elements that are not meant for the general public along with some special features for the community including:

> Download access to various practice texts and aspiration prayers.

We regret to inform you that membership is not instantaneous.  Please do send an email letter to info@ngakpasociety.org briefly expressing your interest as a practitioner or student and after a brief e-mail interview your status will be confirmed.

Once confirmed, please make your membership donation for $150 by check to The Himalayan Light Foundation and make sure to write your name, mailing address, email address, inside a note in the envelope. Also be sure to write "NL membership" in the memo portion of the check.    This will assure that our secretary will record the purpose of the donation accordingly.
